It sucks that my least favourite time of the year happens once a week.

saturday night i went to bed at 12:30 and I slept until 9:30. 9 hours of sleep. it was so glorious. last night's seven just doesn't cut it.

today it's actually almost cold and probably will spend most of the day raining. i'm pretty ok with that, actually. I'm a little displeased that it was about 7 when it was getting dark yesterday. my favourite ( Read more... )

so incredibly unhappy.

i see a majority of my monday morning (or hell, just morning) posts going like this for the foresee-able future.

so this morning i woke up at 4am, certain it was 7, when i had to be up, and really confused about why it was so dark out. thankfully i hadn't done much more than stumble towards the bathroom before the fact that it was dark out and that was really weird for 7 am in august, so i checked a clock and...found out 7 was 3 hours away.

see above.

i hate being awake so much right now i basically hate everything in the world that exists while i'm currently awake. this is a lot of things. i don't even know why i'm so tired today, i went to bed early last night. all i want is another of sleep. another hour, is that so much to ask ( Read more... )

the weather said it was only about 66 degrees when i woke up, and since i've got the window open and it's kind of chilly, i think that's probably about right. it's july. somehow, i don't know when, but presumably since yesterday morning, i managed to reset the clock part of my alarm clock (in my sleep?) and woke up today to the scare that i'd overslept again and my alarm had not woken me up. like no, really. awesome! i lost track of time like, immediately (which is probably in part due to the late-night flights and the time change) which is one of the ways you know it's really summer. and it was just so nice to be able to get up when i wanted. and laze about in fuzzy piles. and kind of not do anything except see a few people and drink ( Read more... )
